What Does the Colon Have to do With it?

At this point, you must be wondering what the colon has to do with all these symptoms, and how cleaning the colon can help.

The colon is an organ that is closely linked to many other body systems. Everything from your vision, hearing, and breathing, to your circulatory, immune, and reproductive systems is affected – negatively or positively – by the condition of the colon. Therefore, if your colon is polluted, you will probably experience some of the negative symptoms listed in the previous chapter.

Different points on the colon correspond to different body systems. Therefore, a disturbance in one part of the colon can cause a temporary dimming of vision, while a disturbance in another might cause a rash. These symptoms do not necessarily mean that you have bad eyes or a skin disease; rather, it means that some parts of your colon are polluted and that by cleaning them out, these secondary symptoms will disappear.

The colon can be the key to great health, or the cause of many debilitating diseases. The importance of regular colon cleansings, often called “colonics,” cannot be over-stressed. Colonics can prevent the conditions listed above by undoing the damage of many years of unhealthy living.

Unfortunately, because the colon is not a popular discussion topic, many people do not even know that there is a problem in their colons, or that their colons are the root of many of their health problems. If you answered yes to any of the questions in Chapter 1, or suspect that your colon is not in the best shape, check this list for some of the most common symptoms of bowel distress:

Symptoms Indicating Bowel Distress

Allergies (Hay fever, Food Allergies): indicates trouble in the cecum
Ears: dulled hearing, pressure in inner ear, indicate trouble in the ascending colon
Eyes: dim vision, indicates trouble in the ascending colon
Nose: nasal mucous, asthma, indicate trouble in the ascending colon
Skin: eczema, pimples, rashes, psoriasis, indicate the bowel is beyond capacity and the body is using the skin as an alternate route for waste disposal
Headache: migraine and chronic sinusitis, result of increased toxins
Irritable Bowel Syndrome: diarrhea, constipation, gas
Gall bladder: infection, gall stones, indicate trouble at the juncture of the ascending and transverse colons
Gas (Flatulence): although some gas is normal and healthy, excessive gas indicates bowel disturbance. Fermentation from putrefying matter caught in diverticula causes extra gas, as does the activity of harmful bacteria.
Larynx: inflammation, indicates colon is backed up with poisonous material
Liver: infection, indicates trouble at the juncture of the ascending and transverse colons
Throat: soreness, indicates colon is backed up with poisonous material
Tonsil: infection, swelling, indicate colon is backed up with poisonous material
